Praia de Frouxeira (Valdoviño) is a 5km long beach featuring multiple surf peaks. Right in front of our house is the ultra consistent right-hander, courtesy of the small island (Percebeira) and the lagoon inlet.

The area surrounding the little historical city of Ferrol is called Ferrolterra. Surf beaches in the area have a swell window of over 180 degrees, with various wind options (protection). Some surf spots are Doniños, San Xorxo, Ponzos, Campelo, Valdoviño and Pantín, home to the Pantín Classic, currently a WQS 6 stars event.

The atmosphere, the food, and the open-mindedness of the locals make surfing even more enjoyable in Spain. We love Galicia for the seafood, the dolphins, and the consistency of the surf, especially in the summer.

Praia de Frouxeira (Valdoviño) ist ein 5km langer Strand, gesegnet mit diversen Surfspots. Direkt vor unserem Haus ist die extrem konstante Right-hander, Teil der kleinen Insel Percebeira samt dazugehöriger Lagune.

Ferrolterra ist die Gegend rund um die historische Stadt Ferrol. Die Strände in dieser Umgebung fangen Swells in einem 180° Radius ein und die Windrichtungen variieren. Doniños, San Xorxo, Ponzos, Campelo, Valdoviño und Pantín (jährlicher Austragungsort der Pantín Classic, zur Zeit ein WQS 6 stars Event) - um nur einige dieser Surfspots zu nennen.

Die Atmosphäre, gute Küche und aufgeschlossene, freundliche Art der Einheimischen machen das Surfen in Spanien  noch angenehmer.
Wir lieben Galizien für seine Meeresfrüchte, den Rioja, die Delfine, und die Konsistenz der Wellen, besonders im Sommer.
